FAQ
What is a sun salutation?
Sun Salutation, also called Surya Namaskar or Salute to the Sun, incorporates a flow sequence of some twelve linked asanas. The focus is on your breath creating a meditation in motion in honor of the Sun. When practiced in harmony with other yogis, the vibration is palpable!

Why 108?
The number 108 is considered sacred in many cultures and religions. 108 is often used in practices like sun salutations and chanting mantras, as it's believed to represent completion and connection to the universe. Some interpretations link 108 to cosmic energy and divine connection, particularly in relation to the sun, moon, and Earth.
Do I have to do 108 sun salutations?
No. You can do as many as you’d like.
Additionally, don’t forget that you can modify! Instead of doing a full chatarunga every time, you can bring your knees down. Instead of an updog do a cobra, instead of a downdog do a child’s pose. This is a marathon, not a race, so pace yourself!
